Chintaman Ganesh Temple is one of the Ancient Ganesha Temple Founded in India which is located at the Holy City Ujjain in Central Indian State Called Madya Pradesh. Chintaman Ganesha mandir founded by Mata Sita (in Ramayan Era).
These temple is rebuilt in 11th century where the statue is self inclined i.e. Shuyambu in Hindi or self Manifested in English.
The temple itself is believed to be of considerable antiquity. Riddhi and Siddhi, the consorts of Ganesha, are seated on either side of Ganesha.
Chintaharan Ganesh meaning "the assurer of freedom from worldly anxieties" i.e. when a devotee worship lord Ganesha in this form , by god grace the devotee become fearless and relaxed from its all tensions.
As we enter the Garbhgriha, three ancient idols of lord Ganesha are seen.
The biggest idol is of Shri Contaminant Ganesha, close by Shri Icchaman Ganesha (In the Middle) and third is Shri Siddhi Vinayak.Before beginning any work of welfare like new business, marriage, etc, firstly people worship in the temple and take the blessings of lord to accomplish the tasks without hurdles.
Shri Chintaman Ganesh temple is approximately 8 km away from the Ujjain city and situated near the Fatehabad railway line. City bus is available to arrive here
