Please Follow these Advise from us to take full benefits from the world largest 

Religious gather at Kumbh mela Called as Simhasth Mela at Ujjain in India 

 

Do’s and Dont’s (For Tourists).

Follow These Instructions for Your and others Safety.

1. Pilgrims are requested to use the bathing  areas/ Ghats(River Banks) that are authorized by the Mela administration for their safety and security
2. Pilgrims are requested not to use the Soaps or any chemical based shampoo during bathing places/Ghats nearest to their place of stay in Mela area or the city for Avoiding Water Pollution.
3. If any unidentified or suspicious object is located, the Mela administration or the police control room should be informed about it and stay at-least 10 meters form it . And Don't Panic .
4. Pilgrims are requested to  follow the traffic rules and regulations in the city and the Mela area.
5. The directions and advice given through the Central Public Address System may be followed to avoid any inconvenience and you can also use Local Guide help.
6. Garbage should be thrown only in the dustbins.Don't Use Plastic Bags because it is banned in Mela area.
7. Pilgrims and travelers are requested to be appropriately attired considering the religious and cultural sensibilities of the event. The local service providers will be happy to give advice on this issue.
8. Be with your Group members and take care of each other during travelling.
9. Don't Drink openly and enter any holy perishes after drinking alcohol.
10. Don't Abuse any one either intentionally or not.
11. Make sure about your Day plan earlier to visit any location.
12. Don't Take any edible items form any unknown person.
13. Do carry your ID or Passport Copy with you always.
14. Make a list of Medicines you needed regularly
15. Try to intake as much as water or liquid juice (Prefer Sugarcan Juice over anyother)  to avoid dehydration.
16. Wear Light Color Clothes during whole journey.
17. Always wear Sunglass and hat to avoid sun rays 
18. Don't  try to Oppose any ritual held in mela area or in the city.    

Activities Which are not allowed in kumbh mela

1. Use of plastic bags in Ujjain is prohibited by the Government and the Honorable High Court during the Kumbh Mela.
2. Washing of clothes on the river banks should be avoided.
3. Overcrowding of boats must be avoided.
4. Pilgrims and travelers are advised not to encourage beggary.
5. Use of soaps  while bathing in rivers should be avoided.
6. Throwing of the materials used for  worship or rituals in the river should be avoided.
